Is ClearClient a compliance or regulatory tool?+
No. ClearClient is a client document management and record-keeping platform — not a licensed compliance service. It helps you collect information consistently, store it securely, and document decisions clearly. What you do with that information is always your professional responsibility.
How is client data stored and protected?+
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Client documents are stored in secure US-based cloud storage with access controls. We never sell or share client data with third parties.
Can I brand the intake form?+
Yes — on the Growth plan and above, you can add your own logo and brand colors to the client-facing intake form. Your clients will see your firm's branding, not ClearClient's.
Does it work for business clients as well as individuals?+
Yes. The intake form has two modes — Individual and Business. You choose which mode to use when adding a new client, or let the client self-select when they open the intake link.
Do my clients need to create an account?+
No account, no download, no friction. You send a link — your client opens it in their browser, fills in their details, uploads their ID, and signs the consent notice. Works on any device.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
Your data is yours. If you cancel, you have 30 days to export all client files and documents as PDFs before they are permanently deleted from our servers.
